TC19 is an easy-to-use, adaptable and quick non-invasive saliva test for the detection of SARS-CoV-2, the virus which causes COVID-19.

Clinically proven to detect low levels of the virus in asymptomatic patients.

TC19 has  92% sensitivity and 98% specificity for the virus in asymptomatic people when compared to PCR. Current LFD tests have reported variable results in the detection of SARS-CoV-2 in asymptomatic populations having failed to detect 6 out of 10 positive PCR cases.

TC19 data is available on request.

Why do I need TC19?

TC19 can detect the presence of the virus in saliva in under 15 minutes from saliva collection without the need for

  • invasive sample collection.
  • expensive laboratory equipment – each kit is provided with full instructions for use and a 2-minute online training link.

TC19 is a point-of-care/ point-of-entry test available in kits of 7 or 100 tests.

TC19 technology?

TC19 is an antibody-free antigenic test based on the technology developed at Tissue Click Ltd. The test can be updated to target new and emerging variants in days and manufactured at a large scale in weeks.

The patented technology can be adapted to provide point-of-care testing for the rapid identification of viral, bacterial and fungal infections.

How long does the test take?

TC19 can provide a positive or negative result within 15 minutes of saliva collection.

What equipment is needed for the test?

The TC19 kit provides all of the eqipment needed to complete the test, a clean container for saliva collection is recommended (not provided)

How long can the kit be stored?
